The Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery (BAMS) is a comprehensive medical degree program that integrates the profound wisdom of traditional Ayurveda with the advancements of modern medical science.

At Sanjivani College of Ayurveda, our curriculum is designed to provide extensive theoretical knowledge alongside rigorous clinical training in our 60-bedded hospital. Students are trained in diagnostic procedures, herbal pharmacology, panchakarma therapies, and modern clinical investigations.

Specializations

Kriya Sharir (क्रिया शरीर)

Deals with the study of normal body functions (physiology). Explores the concepts of Dosha, Dhatu, and Mala—the basic components of the human body.

Rachana Sharir (रचना शरीर)

Focuses on human anatomy. Essential for understanding body structures through theoretical study and practical cadaveric dissection.

Sahita Siddhant (संहिता सिद्धान्त)

The study of the fundamental principles of Ayurveda established by ancient seers like Charak, Sushrut, and Vagbhata.

Swasthavritta (स्वस्थवृत्त)

Focuses on preventive and social medicine. Offers training in diet consultation, yoga, and lifestyle management to boost immunity and prevent diseases.

Ras Shastra & B.K. (रस शास्त्र)

The science of Ayurvedic pharmaceutics. Deals with the preparation of medicines from herbs, minerals, and metals.

Rognidan & V.V. (रोग निदान)

Pathology and clinical diagnosis. Equips students with the skills to diagnose diseases using traditional Ayurvedic methods and modern laboratory techniques.

Dravya Guna Vigyan (द्रव्य गुण)

Pharmacology and pharmacognosy of medicinal plants. Supported by our expansive 2600 sq. mts botanical garden featuring over 200 species.

Agad Tantra (अगद तंत्र)

Toxicology and medical jurisprudence. Teaches the management of poisonings and the legal aspects of medical practice.
